Clear PVC Caps

Sometimes a pipe system will have an open end. This can happen if a length of pipe was removed, or it can happen if the system was built to be expanded at a later date. If you have a system that has an open end, fluid or gases can escape. You need a way to create a watertight seal to prevent this problem, while still giving you the option to add on to the system at a later time. Clear PVC caps provide just such a solution. These caps are perfect for a clear PVC system that has an open end or two. They come in diameters from 1/4 inch to 8 inches, so you can find one to meet your exact needs. All of our clear PVC caps are compliant with NS14-14 and ASTM D1274 standards, so you can be certain they will meet your needs.

We also carry a wide range of Clear PVC Piping if applicable to your project.

These clear PVC caps have slip sockets, so you can either slip them in place and leave them that way, or you can use a light adhesive to keep them in place and create a tight seal. Either way, they will stop the flow in the system and prevent lost fluids, all while continuing to allow visual inspection of the system. These clear PVC caps are made from a PVC product that is almost completely clear - with only a slight blue tint, so there is no fear of a harsh dark blue product common with other manufacturers.

Clear PVC is schedule 40 PVC that offers all of the same benefits of PVC, but with a clear material. Because it is schedule 40, it can withstand temperatures of up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. It also has all of the pressure resistance and corrosion resistance of PVC. This means it can be used in systems that are mixing or transporting corrosive chemicals. The caps will not degrade when exposed to chemicals in this way, and they will continue to hold their seal.
