Our DWV adapters are made of PVC making them a lightweight and easy to hand option. PVC fittings are also a very cost effective option for drain, waste, and vent type jobs. Our adapters are designed to create a transition between two different types of pipe. Usually this means different end types (hub, spigot, female pipe thread, male pipe thread).
When it comes to DWV, there are also other types of adapters you won't find in standard schedule 40 fittings. For instance there are trap adapters, cleanout adapters, no-hub adapters, and cast iron soil pipe adapters. Each of these serves a different purpose, but they all are designed for use with drainage and sanitary type use.See our selection of sizes, categories, and end types. We pride ourselves on having the best prices possible due to our buying power on plastic fittings.
Before starting a pipe job - whether you use DWV PVC or another material, it's always a good idea to understand your specific needs. PVC like the above DWV fittings, for instance, can handle temperatures up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. You should also note that DWV fittings are not designed to handle any type of pressurized materials. All this should be taken into account before selecting your material, size, etc.
