DWV wye fittings are a common part used to connect three pipe ends together. This fitting allows for one pipe line to continue straight while another pipe branches off in a 45 degree angle. This can be particularly useful when two drain sources need to exit through one pipe end. Our DWV wyes, sometimes called "y" fittings, are made of white PVC and are designed to handle the drainage and venting of sewage and similar uses. They should never be used for pressurized materials or gas.

There are several styles of wye fittings used in DWV pipe lines. There is the standard wye, which consists of a fitting with three hub openings. There are also what are called reducing wyes. These have one smaller end, allowing pipe of different sizes to be connected. In addition to those types, there are also combination and double wyes. Combo fittings combine a wye and a bend to make a unique fitting used to facilitate flow. Double wyes, as their name implies, are fittings with two branches coming out of opposite ends. The result is similar to a skewed cross.

DWV fittings are made to withstand temperatures under 140 degrees Fahrenheit, just like all PVC materials. Our fittings are NSF 14 certified for potable water use and meet all ASTM stanards for DWV PVC fittings. Check out our selection of parts today.
