Sch 80 CPVC 45 Ell's

In a CPVC pipe system, ell fittings, also known as elbow fittings allow for the change in direction of flow. Often, pipes must travel in something other than a straight line to get from the source of the flow to the destination. The Schedule 80 CPVC 45 Ells allow those setting up systems to create a custom layout with flow heading in any needed direction. CPVC fittings can connect to the pipe either through threads that allow the fitting to screw on to the pipe or through strong adhesives and a smooth connection. Some fittings have reinforcement built into the connection to help them to withstand high-pressure applications.

Our schedule 80 CPVC fittings meet ASTM D1784 Standards and are NSF-14 Certified.

Using Schedule 80 CPVC improves the strength of the system, as these fittings have a thicker wall than the standard Schedule 40 option. This thicker wall allows the fitting to handle higher pressure applications than the Schedule 40 fittings. However, the thicker wall does not change the outside diameter of the fitting, thus flow is reduced in these pipes. Because of this change in wall thickness, Schedule 80 fittings should be used with Schedule 80 pipes, and both are designed to fit and work together. The fact that the fittings are CPVC means that they can resist high temperatures and the corrosive damage from chemicals, making them work well for chemical processing. They are also used in water distribution, fire suppression and plating.

The smooth interior wall of these fittings helps eliminate pressure loss, while the CPVC material is able to handle a higher volume than metal fittings, making them an ideal solution for high volume applications where steady pressure is important, such as water distribution and firefighting. These Schedule 80 CPVC elbows feature a 45-degree angle and come in sizes ranging from 1/4 of an inch to 12 inches and are light gray in color.
