Sch 80 PVC Crosses

While they are not commonly used, PVC crosses perform an important function. When you are joining four pipes or dividing flow into three different directions, these fittings are what you need. These Schedule 80 PVC crosses are made from highly corrosion resistant Schedule 80 PVC and are ideal for both industrial and residential use. All meet ASTM D1784 Standards and are NSF-14 Certified.

These Schedule 80 PVC crosses are designed to be used in rugged conditions. They can be used in both indoor and outdoor applications and are not affected by changes in the environment due to weather. They will not rust, even if used in underground settings, and can withstand the pressure created by traffic or dirt on top of them. Schedule 80 PVC can withstand higher temperatures and pressures than Schedule 40 PVC. The dark gray color indicates that they are Schedule 80 fittings. They are best used with other Schedule 80 pipe.

Schedule 80 PVC is known for its smoothness, so it will not create friction to slow down the flow of the liquid in the system. The corrosion resistance makes these the fitting of choice for applications that will transport highly corrosive fluids. These fittings have slip socket ends so they slip easily over the pipe. Simply use an adhesive to create a water tight seal, or leave it without any adhesive to make changing the system easy and convenient. The ends come together at 90-degree angles.

Our Schedule 80 PVC crosses are designed to connect four pipes with similar diameters. Choose anything from 1/4 inch all the way to 4 inches. If you need a larger diameter, we also carry these, all you need to do is ask. Whether used to connect pipes or to split flow, these fittings are a durable, practical and affordable option for the modern plumber or homeowner.
