1. PVC Sprinkler Water Toy
This is an easy summer DIY project that only requires 4 different types of PVC parts (including pipe). It consists of a simple square PVC frame with a hose adapter. 2. Run-Through PVC Sprinkler
When it comes to summer DIY projects for kids, this is one of the best. It is similar to the previous PVC sprinkler in what it does, but the structure is completely different. 4. PVC Water Balloon Catapult
This project also encourages competition, but maybe not the friendly type. This PVC water balloon catapult launches water balloons amazing distances and can be made out of PVC pipe and some common household materials. It has a stable frame that will not fall apart and uses a pool noodle to pad the arm of the catapult. This means that it is durable and will live through hundreds of balloon barrages!

This super simple water gun is durable and is sure to cause a splash in the pool or the yard!
