This 1-1/4" size PVC elbow is furniture grade and made of shiny black PVC. This part is designed to look great and function as a 90 degree bend in your PVC project design. Furniture grade parts are not made for plumbing or pressurized use. They are best used for creating things like PVC soccer goals and other fun DIY creations. This elbow fitting has 2 socket ends that fit 1-1/4" nominal size PVC pipe. Not sure if you have the right size pipe? The outside diameter of the pipe should measure about 1.660". The pipe slides into each socket end of the fitting to create a 90 degree bend. This joint can be made with or without PVC cement (only use PVC cement for connections you want to be permanent).
