Eaton Model 30R simplex strainers are engineered to be applied in low or moderate pressure applications. Simplex strainers are high-quality and cost-effective for moderate applications such as swimming pools, cooling towers, and large air conditioning installations. System components that are downstream are protected with a perforated or wire mesh screen that removes unwanted solids from liquid, gas, or steam lines. This 3" Eaton Model 30R simplex strainer is made of cast iron and has 125# flat-faced flanged connections. This simplex strainer is cleaned manually by shutting down the line and removing the strainer and cleaning any debris from the strainer.
