Eaton Model 30R simplex strainers are engineered to be applied in low or moderate pressure applications. Simplex strainers are high-quality and cost-effective for moderate applications such as swimming pools, cooling towers, and large air conditioning installations. System components that are downstream are protected with a perforated or wire mesh screen that removes unwanted solids from liquid, gas, or steam lines. This 3" Eaton Model 30R simplex strainer is made of cast iron and has threaded connections. This simplex strainer is cleaned manually by shutting down the line and removing the strainer and cleaning any debris from the strainer.
