Do these flanges require a gasket between them when connected? If so, is that gasket included in this price?

Whether or not you need a gasket depends upon your application. If you're going flange to flange, you need a gasket. If you're using a flange with a valve (except a butterfly valve), then you need a gasket. Gaskets are a separate item.
