Flexible PVC Duct

Flexible PVC duct is used for sections of PVC duct work that won't work with standard fittings or duct. Since regular duct is rigid and does not bend, flexible PVC duct can be invaluable for completing a duct line. Flexible duct is corrugated to allow bending and snaking around existing fixtures.

PVC duct is unique in that it has thinner walls than standard PVC pipe. Though PVC duct is gray in color like schedule 80 PVC, it is much thinner and lighter. That means hoisting it up for installation and holding it in place while cementing or welding is much easier in comparison to other duct materials. Flexible PVC duct is particularly easy to handle, due to its ability to bend.

You can find PVC duct used in applications like industrial venting or gas handling, institutional applications, or commercial uses. It is a low maintenance material - requiring little to no work after installation, and it lasts for years! No more scaling, buildup, pits or corrosion. Like all PVC material, flexible PVC duct has a maximum working temperature of 140F. It is, however, surprisingly fire resilient. A great feature especially for institutional uses where safety is a big concern.
