Sch 40 PVC 45 Elbows

Schedule 40 PVC 45 ells turn the direction of flow in a PVC pipe system at a 45 degree angle. These work well for customizing a layout to fit in an existing space when a slight bend is needed. These Schedule 40 PVC 45 ells come in a wide range of diameters to work with just about any existing setup. These fittings are commonly used in household plumbing, but may also be seen in commercial settings where cool liquids need to be transported. The thinner PVC material makes these some of the more affordable fittings on the market, while the durability of PVC makes them ideal for underground applications and applications involving hazardous materials.

Max temperature 140 F. Max pressure varies based on fitting size. Our schedule 40 elbows (excluding class 125) meet standards ASTM D-1784, ASTM D-2466/2467, NSF/ANSI 14 & 61.

These Schedule 40 PVC 45 ells come in a range of diameters from 1/2 inch to 12 inches in diameter. This size variety means that these can be incorporated into a range of systems, including home plumbing, aquaculture, irrigation and others. These are not reducing fittings, so the pipes on both ends will need to be the same diameter. The ells can be fitted onto pipes using smooth ends and a strong adhesive or with threading, depending on the type of piping system desired.

Because these are Schedule 40 PVC 45 ells, they are best suited for lower pressure and lower temperature settings. They cannot handle high temperatures, and are rated to handle no more than 140 psi. This makes them suitable for irrigation, home plumbing and certain commercial plumbing systems. The material is also strong enough to resist distortion if it is walked on, which is what makes it popular in residential setting. They resist corrosion well enough to be used underwater and under the ground. The schedule 40 PVC makes this an affordable option when a system needs a slight turn but does not need the greater durability of the Schedule 80 PVC.
