Sch 80 CPVC Flanges

A flange is a disc that can connect to a pipe with the purpose of providing increased strength, ending the flow or allowing for the attachment of items, such as spray nozzles, to the end of a pipe. A flange allows for the pressing of two surfaces together with a tight seal using bolts, edges, clamps or some other compressive force, with bolts being the most common option. Schedule 80 CPVC flanges offer the additional benefit of the strength and corrosive resistance of Schedule 80 CPVC.

Our schedule 80 CPVC fittings meet ASTM D1784 Standards and are NSF-14 Certified.

Flanges come in a wide range of sizes, shapes and connecting systems. The most common types are slip on, threaded, blind and van connectors. Slip on flanges slide over the end of the pipe, adding strength and support without the need to screw directly onto the pipe. Adhesives in addition to the bolts can help them stay in place. Threaded options allow for the flange to connect directly to the threaded end of the pipe. Blind flanges are designed for applications where the flow needs to stop, but easy access to the system is necessary. Because they are quite strong, blind pipe flanges are particularly well suited for high pressure applications. Finally, van and van stone pipe flanges offer a free-floating ring design. This allows for the alignment of the bolt holes after the flange has been attached to the pipe, making these flanges quite simple to install. These Schedule 80 CPVC flanges are dark gray in color and come in sizes ranging from ½ inch to 12 inches.

These Schedule 80 CPVC flanges are designed for use with Schedule 80 CPVC pipes. They offer the benefits of both the thicker Schedule 80 material and the stronger CPVC material. This means that they can withstand high pressure, high temperature applications. They are highly corrosion resistant, so they can be used with those applications involving highly corrosive chemicals. The addition of the flange to the system increases the strength of the pipe in addition to the strength provided by these superior materials.
