Viton Seals

Take complete control of your pipeline with our selection of PVC True Union Ball Valves with Viton seals. Ball valves allow complete shut-off and opening of the valve with a simple quarter-turn motion. These valves can also be actuated for customized flow regulation. The seating in one of these valves consists of a sphere with a cylindrical hole through its center. When the valve is closed, fluid hits the solid side of the sphere. When the valve is open, fluid is allowed to pass through the hole in the sphere. Ball valves are ideal for a wide range of applications, from irrigation control to chemical processing.

As a material, PVC is strong, yet inexpensive and has countless chemical resistances. This means it can be used to transport liquids of all kinds. It can also withstand well over 100psi of pressure and is rated for temperatures up to 140F (60C). The seals in our true union ball valves are wetted, which means they come in contact with the fluid in the valve. The Viton seals in these ball valves are made of a high-quality rubber compound with many of the same chemical resistances as PVC itself.

True union style valves refer to the design of the valve, which allows the union ends to be taken off and the valve body taken apart. This is very handy for maintenance, or if you ever need to replace a valve that has already been glued in place. These valves keep you from having to cut and splice pipe back in your system. Our selection of Viton ball valves is one of the most extensive online, and our valves are available at great discount pricing. Please contact us if you have any questions about the products.
