This 5 foot long section of 4004-120AB 12" Schedule 40 PVC Pipe is made of durable material for liquid handling. We carry the top brands in the country, and only sell pipe that meets all industry standards for Schedule 40 PVC. This 12 inch pipe can be used in a variety of commercial and industrial applications. PVC is widely used for its cost efficiency, availability, and ease of use. It is also resistant to corrosion and will not rust or pit like metal.
Please Note: this pipe does not measure 12 inches exactly. PVC uses a nominal sizing system, meaning the name does not denote the exact size of a pipe or fitting. This pipe in fact has an outside diameter of approximately 12.75". It is designed to fit snugly inside of a 12" (nominal size) socket or "slip" fitting. We recommend this pipe be used with other Schedule 40 PVC fittings and pipe, DWV PVC fittings, or Class 125 PVC fittings. This pipe is also compatible with 12" Schedule 80 PVC flanges if a flange connection is required.
For proper installation, this pipe should be installed using PVC solvent cement and primer. We generally recommend a heavier body, slower setting cement for pipe of this size.
