CPVC check valves are a one-way valve that allows fluid or other media to flow through the valve in just one direction. Unlike ball valves, these do not have to be controlled with a handle or other external device. They work automatically, with the media itself causing the valve to open when the media is flowing through. The design of the check valve prevents backflow from returning into the system.
