Description

Reducer couplings connect two different-sized lengths of piping in a straight line. This 1" x 3/4" Schedule 40 Reducer Coupling has double FPT ends, so it connects two NPT connections with male threads. This particular fitting is often used to make connections between different-sized pipes in irrigation and swimming pool systems. This reducer coupling is made from schedule 40 PVC, giving it superb structural integrity but no hot water ratings. PTFE thread seal tape is recommended for a tight seal on threaded connections.
