This 3" Schedule 40 45-Degree Street Elbow is deigned to change pipeline flow direction while connecting a PVC fitting to PVC pipe. A street elbow is an elbow fitting that has one "male" end and one "female" end. The spigot end fits into a PVC fitting of the same nominal size, with the same outer diameter (OD) as PVC pipe. The slip end fits over PVC pipe, acting as a standard socket. Street elbows are great when you need to alter flow direction with limited space. This fitting is not rated for hot water applications.
