Top rung is 3 points, middle is worth 2, and the bottom rung is 1 point.

Just like Ladder Ball is a simple game, making your own Ladder Ball set is easy too! Check out the steps below, and you’ll be the highlight of your next neighborhood bash.

Supplies for the Ladder

18 ft of 1” PVC pipe
(2) 1” 90° elbows
(8) 1” Tees
PVC Pipe Cutters

Supplies for the Bolas

Nylon Rope
Golf Balls (at least 12)
Drill with a 3/8” bit

Steps for Assembling the Ladder and Bolas

Step 1: Cut your 1” pipe to size. You will need five 2’ sections and eight 1’ sections.

Step 2: Take a 1’ piece, a 2’ piece, and a tee and connect them together, slipping the pipe into either end of the tee (not the middle opening). Repeat a second time.

Step 3: On the open end of both tees place a 1’ section, and then place a tee on top with the middle opening of the tee pointing inwards.

Step 4: Connect the two sections with a 2’ piece by inserting the pipe into the middle openings of the two tees added in step 3.

Step 5: Place a 1’ piece on both sides, with a tee connector on top, similar to step 3.

Step 6: Connect the tees with a 2’ section, similar to step 4.

Step 7: Place remaining 1’ pieces on top, and cap those with your 90° elbows.

Step 8: Connect your elbows with your final 2’ foot section.

Step 9: Drill a 3/8” hole through each golf ball.

Step 10: Cut rope into 20” pieces, and then tie a knot at one end.

Step 11: String two golf balls onto the rope and tie a knot at the other end.
