CPVC Compact Ball Valves

Some jobs give you very little wiggle room. For those times, we have compact CPVC ball valves. These valves provide the functionality of our regular CPVC ball valves in a smooth, compact package. With an EPDM O-ring, these seals can withstand pressures up to 150psi. The CPVC body is rated for temperatures up to 200F (93C). For all applications that require high pressure and warm temperatures, our compact CPVC ball valves are perfect.

This valve is compact and has a smooth surface unlike most ball valves, which can be bulky. When installing a ball valve in a small space, a compact body is a necessity. These compact CPVC ball valves are made to be compatible with schedule 80 PVC pipe. To connect to any other type of piping, an adapter is necessary. All valves in this category have socket ends and will require PVC cement to create an airtight seal.

CPVC (chlorinated polyvinyl chloride) is PVC that has gone through an extra chlorination process. This makes it more resistant to high temperatures. Typical PVC starts degrading at 140F (60C), so it is not suitable for hot-water applications. CPVC is perfect for transporting hot water or any other fluids you need moved.

Ball valves are a 90-degree turn valve that can easily be opened and closed. Ball valves get their name from the spherical seating inside the valve that stops flow of fluid in the closed position. When closed, fluid hits a spherical surface, experiencing less wear and tear than a butterfly valve, which has a flat surface. When open, fluid passes through a hole in the sphere. Our compact CPVC ball valves have an easy-turn style handle that makes operation simple.
