Polypropylene Type A camlock's are male adaptors by female threads of the same size. The grooved male end can be inserted into any female coupler (Type B, C, E, DC) of identical size. Polypropylene is commonly used in low pressure suction applications or with the discharge hose of a firefighting pump. It has a working temperature range between 15°F and 200°F and is resistant to most aggressive chemicals.
