Polypropylene Type B camlock’s are paired with male couplers like Type F, E, and A couplers. The coupler and adapter are joined after contact with the gasket is made. Once contact is made, the cam arms close simultaneously to produce a seal against the gasket. Polypropylene is commonly used in low pressure suction applications or with the discharge hose of a firefighting pump. It has a working temperature range between 15°F and 200°F and is resistant to most aggressive chemicals.
