Type D polypropylene camlocks are female coupler by female NPT/DSP thread, and are typically used with Type A adapters. You can also use them with Type E, F, and DP of the same size. These camlocks are used as quick hose couplings and are ideal for suction hoses that work under low pressure while transporting chemicals, food liquids, hydraulic oils, and more. Polypropylene is commonly used in low pressure suction applications or with the discharge hose of a firefighting pump. It has a working temperature range between 15°F and 200°F and is resistant to most aggressive chemicals.
