Black Malleable Iron Plugs

Our BMP1 fitting is a 1" Black Malleable Iron Plug with one 1" male-threaded connection. This fitting is designed to let the user end a pipeline with a fitting, as this plug fits in a female-threaded fitting. This is extremely helpful when the system may be upgraded or altered later. Installation of this black iron plug is simple, as it does not require any welding or soldering. An inexpensive thread sealant will be required for a watertight seal. Black iron is resistant to pressure, heat, and corrosion, so it is most often found in gas and oil systems.
