2-1/2" x 2" Schedule 40 Reducing Elbow Slip(SP) x Slip (416-292)

A reducing elbow has two different sized ends that reduce the size of the pipeline. This 2-1/2" x 2" Schedule 40 Reducing Elbow has two slip ends that reduce from 2-1/2" to 2". Reducing fittings are used to join two pre-existing pipelines or to increase pressure due to the size reduction. The elbow fitting shape allows you to change pipeline flow direction, which can be extremely useful when piping in tight spaces. Schedule 40 PVC is not rated for use in hot water applications due to its temperature tolerance of 140°F.
