This is a Lasco brand garden hose thread fitting that is designed to thread into a standard 3/4" female end garden hose. The other end is a 1/2" PVC Spigot end. Spigot ends are meant to slip into the socket end of a PVC fitting. For instance, the 1/2" Spigot end of this fitting would slip into one end of a 1/2" PVC elbow fitting with S x S ends.
