Valves

PVC, CPVC, and metal valves control the flow inside pipes and come in a variety of types and sizes to fit the needs of many industries and projects. We carry a huge selection of plastic and metal valves ranging from PVC true union ball valves to stainless steel gate valves. Each type handles differently and is suited for certain applications. Different valves may range in the temperature they can withstand as well as the maximum pressure they should hold. We pride ourselves on having some of the best valve prices in the industry. Check valves are devices that allow flow to go only in one direction, preventing flow reversal with minimal pressure drop. They are made from plastic and stainless steel, so colors range from white, black and grey. They operate automatically and range in size from 0.2 inches to 48 inches. Used in home plumbing systems and industrial uses such as water desalination plants. Ball valves have a spherical disc which controls the flow. They are durable because after years of disuse they will achieve flow shutoff. They come in five styles: Single body, three pieces, split body, top entry and welded and can be orange, red or blue in color. They are popular because they can withstand temperatures of up to 485°F and flow pressure of up to 1000 bars. Ball valves range in size from 0.2 inches to 11.8 inches.

PVC Gate valves are used in the oil and gas industry because of their ability to cut through liquids. They are made from cast iron, alloy and forged steels, and come in white, red, blue or grey. They feature minimum flow restrictions with consistent pressure with attached pipe and are available in sizes ranging from 4 inches to 40 inches; usually a gate valve is an inch wider than the pipe it's attached to. Butterfly valves have a wide variety of uses from the petroleum industry to domestic use for homes that use gas as an energy source. They range in size from 3 inches to 72 inches and are similar to a ball valve but the round disk is present, so there are flow restrictions. Butterfly valves are available in brass, red or blue. Wafer valves are sandwiched between two flanges using nuts and bolts to join the valves, thus the name. They are used for controlling low pressure gas, water, or air flow and range in size from 3 inches to 42 inches. These types of
