Standard Swing Checks

Standard PVC swing check valves are used in a wide range of applications from commercial installations to home and aquatic use. Our quality swing check valves are made of white PVC material with a "swinging" mechanism in the body of the valve that opens up to allow flow and closes to prevent back-flow. These valves have a max open pressure of 150 PSI and a maximum temperature rating of 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Available in both threaded and socket end types.

One of the common uses for swing check valves is aquatics. This includes everything from spa installations to large aquariums. Check valves are vital to many pipeline systems that rely on one-directional flow. Our valves are recommended for liquid handling purposes only. A certain amount of pressure is required to open and close the valve properly. There is no handle to control the on/off functions of the valve. Only the pressure of the media can open and close the valve.

Our valves are made by Spears and other top brands for quality service that you can rely on - even in demanding applications. Choose from 1/2" to 8" size valves with either socket (requiring PVC solvent cement) or threaded ends. PVC is the perfect material for water handling valves, as it is strong, corrosion-resistant, and durable. PVC will not rust or pit, even after years of use! Sometimes called a "flap check valve," swing checks are an easy and economical way to prevent back-flow in your line.
